Data Analysis Head

Location: On site, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Head of Data Analytics to lead the organization’s data strategy, analytics function, and data-driven decision-making. This role combines hands-on advanced analytics with leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic oversight. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into actionable insights while building scalable analytics frameworks across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

• Own and define the data analytics vision, roadmap, and governance across the organization
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and BI professionals
• Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making
• Establish best practices for analytics, reporting, data quality, and documentation

Analytics & Insights

• Translate business objectives into advanced analytical models, dashboards, and KPIs
• Deliver insights across key functions such as finance, operations, sales, marketing, HR, or supply chain
• Perform predictive, prescriptive, and diagnostic analytics to support growth and optimization
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities using large and complex datasets

Data & Technology

• Oversee data pipelines, data models, and integration from multiple sources
• Work closely with data engineering, IT, and product teams to ensure scalable and reliable data infrastructure
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance standards
• Evaluate and implement new analytics tools, BI platforms, and automation solutions

Stakeholder Management

• Present insights and recommendations clearly to C-suite and senior stakeholders
• Convert complex analytical findings into simple, actionable business narratives
• Partner cross-functionally to drive adoption of analytics solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
• 7–10+ years of experience in data analytics, with lead or head-level exposure
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python and/or R
• Advanced experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
• Solid understanding of data modeling, KPIs, and business metrics
• Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience building or scaling a data analytics function from scratch
• Background in finance, consulting, tech, or large enterprise environments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with machine learning or advanced statistical modeling
• Exposure to data governance, compliance, and security frameworks
