Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team and support large-scale public sector IT projects. This role involves conducting deep-dive data analysis, interpreting trends, building executive reports, and working with large, complex datasets in secure environments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically rigorous, and comfortable working with SQL databases, data privacy constraints, and executive-level data reporting.

Responsibilities:

Mandatory

Strong experience of analyzing and interpreting large data sets.

Proficient in applying data analytical processes on large scale projects.

Strong in creating complex spreadsheets and executing scripts to gather data.

Experience creating and publishing data analysis for the public. (apply only if you meet this requirement along with a link to your portfolio in your resume/cover)

Strong in statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.

Proficient in preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.

Strong in SQL database queries using Microsoft SQL Server 2017, or later, on projects involving large and complex IT systems.

Desired

Strong experience analyzing data from remote entities into a centralized database of similar size and complexity.

Strong experience analyzing high volume data that is based on confidential data.

Experience performing the required activities in a federal, state, or local government agency environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
