Data Analyst- (Male)
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with 2–3 years of experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, working with diverse data sources, developing Power BI reports, and ensuring high-quality, reliable data across the organization.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of numbers and business context, and hands-on experience in data cleaning, transformation, modeling, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities1. ETL/ELT & Data Pipelines
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Work with tools such as Power Query, SQL-based ETL, Dataflows, ADF, SSIS, or similar platforms.
- Automate data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize performance.
2. Data Management & Databases
- Work with multiple databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, Oracle, or cloud-based DBs.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Perform data extraction, cleaning, profiling, and validation at scale.
3. Data Cleaning, Transformation & Quality
- Handle large volumes of raw data and transform them into clean, usable datasets.
- Create data validation checks and ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems.
- Apply data optimization techniques to improve refresh times and model performance.
4. Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets.
- Use Power Query and DAX to create calculated columns, measures, and date intelligence logic.
- Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service, including refresh schedules, Row-Level Security (RLS), and workspaces.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver insights.
5. Automation & Productivity Tools
- Build automation using tools like Power Automate, Python scripts, Excel VBA, or workflow tools.
- Implement scheduled tasks to streamline repetitive processes.
- Integrate BI outputs with email alerts, SharePoint, Teams, and other systems.
6. Excel & Analytical Skills
- Strong command of Excel: Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, and data modeling.
- Excellent ability to work with numbers, perform analysis, detect patterns, and identify anomalies.
7. Domain & Business Understanding
- Interpret data with a strong understanding of business KPIs, metrics, and operational logic.
- Provide insights that support decision-making across departments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Solid experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating diverse data sources.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Power BI, Power BI Service, and Power Query.
- Experience working with files, APIs, databases, cloud storage, SharePoint, Excel, CSV, JSON, etc.
- Strong data modeling and DAX knowledge.
- Proficiency with Excel (advanced).
- Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, scripting, or similar).
- Strong analytical thinking and numerical ability.
- Knowledge of data validation, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
Good to Have (Optional)
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Dataflows, Databricks, or cloud data integration tools.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD for analytics.
