Data Analyst

MHSI is a privately held company based in Rochester Hills, MI, supporting manufacturing, program management, data management, and design for our customers in Logistics and Logistics related activities. These activities include the management and design of Facilities, Material Handling, Material Flow, and Industrial Engineering related activities. MHSI’s customers include Automotive, Automotive Tier One’s, and Heavy Manufacturing. MHSI’s personnel work as an extension for the customer.

We are currently seeking a Data Analyst with 3-5 years’ experience. This position is a hybrid working environment with on site work at our customer location in Warren, MI at least 3 days per week.

Job Functions:

• Provide Data Analysis support of Customer Supply chain Logistics system performance
• Develop custom solutions using Tableau and/or similar tools for identifying opportunities for improvement
• Work with team members to identify areas for improvement and strategies solutions.
• Maintaining company and customer databases
• Trips to customer locations to train and develop additional systems requirements as needed
• Provide complete and accurate tracking on the current status for all work-in-progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems.
• Microsoft Business Intelligence or other reporting tools knowledge
• Prior experience applying data analytic tools
• Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Working knowledge of Management Information Systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Exposure to Microsoft Access and SQL Databases
• Good follow-up and interface skills
• Our customer requires a standard drug screening test for all employees that will be visiting their facilities and this will be done as part of the post job offer employment process.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
