The Opportunity:
We are seeking a primarily virtual experienced data analyst to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team focused on innovating and enhancing programs in primary care. This role requires the ability to pull data from multiple platforms while developing a data extraction, transfer, and load strategy for components of data that reside across various platforms. In addition, the Vayu team is looking for analysts with experience with data visualization platforms (such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to bring together multiple data sets to determine Vayu’s direct impact on a patient's healthcare outcomes. The integration of these data sets, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, will support complex, high-risk patients, enabling data-driven decision-making with leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare data from various sources.
Ensure the quality and integrity of health information databases.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Prepare and present detailed reports based on data analysis.
Collaborate with IT and operational staff to support data management needs.
Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and cybersecurity laws and policies.
Maintain and update health information records accurately and securely.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in the data.
Identify incomplete or missing data sets for the operations team.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve data sharing within functions.
Education and Licenses Required:
Qualifications:
Required:
3+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Strong understanding of healthcare data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, SAS, R).
Proficiency in data visualization tools and software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Experience with improving data and tracking.
Willingness to travel for in-person meetings approximately every three months.
Preferred:
Knowledge of the pros and cons of multiple data programming languages
Knowledge of the pros and cons of data visualization tools
Knowledge of pros and cons of data storage options
This is a remote position with PST hours/location desired
