Job Description: Data Analyst

Location: Bathinda, Punjab

(Candidates preferably based in Bathinda or nearby locations will be given preference)

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support construction projects by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. The role focuses on MIS reporting, cost analysis, and providing accurate insights to aid management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
• Analyze project-wise costs, material consumption, and labour data
• Monitor budget vs. actual performance and report variances
• Consolidate and validate data received from multiple project sites
• Develop analytical reports and dashboards for management review
• Coordinate with site, billing, and accounts teams to ensure data accuracy
• Maintain data integrity and timely reporting standards

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Sound understanding of MIS reporting and data analysis
• High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Power BI / Tableau
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Exposure to construction projects, costing, or billing
• Familiarity with BOQ and project budgets

Qualification

• Graduate in B.Com / BBA / B.Sc / BA / Engineering
• Certification in Data Analytics or Advanced Excel will be an added advantage

Experience

• Freshers with strong analytical and Excel skills are encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in the construction or infrastructure sector is preferred
