Role Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data & BI Analyst to bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business insights. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end data lifecycle—from extracting data from disconnected sources such as Excel and local files, to building a centralized PostgreSQL database and designing high-impact Power BI dashboards.

Your work will directly support sales and leadership teams in monitoring performance and making data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Integration & Engineering

• Consolidate data from multiple disparate sources (Excel, CSV, local databases, and web sources) into a structured PostgreSQL database.

2. Data Cleaning & Preparation

• Perform data profiling, cleaning, and transformation to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reports.

3. BI Development

• Design, build, and maintain automated Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Focus on sales performance metrics and operational monitoring.

4. Analysis & Insights

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business growth.
• Provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

5. Automation

• Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to reduce manual data handling and improve efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering.
• Database Management: Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including complex queries, window functions, and relational schema management.
• Data Visualization: Advanced knowledge of Power BI (DAX, Power Query/M, and data modeling).
• Data Preparation: Strong Excel skills and experience working with unstructured or messy data.
• Communication: Ability to translate technical analysis into clear, meaningful insights for sales and management teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance frameworks, including data privacy, security, and standardized definitions.
• Cloud Services: Experience with AWS services such as S3, RDS, or Glue.
• Programming: Basic knowledge of Python for automating repetitive data tasks.
