Job Description

myFootpath is seeking a Data Analyst to help streamline and support the administrative operations of the organization.

The Data Analyst position assists the Graduation Specialist Team, whose responsibility is to connect adult learners with college degree programs. The position is ideal for those who want to learn more about Operations Software, Business Processes, Higher Education, Marketing, or Business and Office Management. The position is not a student-facing position.

The primary job responsibilities include:

  • Running various reports using excel, python reports, often at the command line.
  • Utilizing Zapier and similar tools for handling integrations between software and systems.
  • Analysis using excel, power query, Power BI, and other database tools.
  • Developing our data tools and infrastructure using python and external databases.
  • Assisting with various technology tools, set-up, and integration. Most tools are no-code, and require data structure and process flow work.
  • Special projects will be assigned based on your experience and skills as well as the needs of the office. Past examples have included redesign of public-facing documents, researching new technology solutions, creating excel macros, and reviewing current internal processes for efficiency.

The right candidate must possess strong excel, python, and computer skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a requirement and some experience working in or with colleges is a plus.

Please note: Microsoft Excel skills are a core function of this position. You must be able to do lookup commands, create pivot tables from scratch, compare large data sets, and perform basic analysis on those data sets. Similarly, reading, writing, and modifying Python scripts is also a core function.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
