Data Analyst

Position Summary:

The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing clinical/business data and translating that data into useful information and reports to drive business decisions. Qualified candidates should be able to work independently to gather requirements, consolidate data into reportable information, and deliver high quality reports and dashboards to help organization leaders to make informed decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
• Create reports for internal teams
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
• Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
• Structure large data sets to find usable information
• Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

Job Skill & Qualifications:

• MS SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
• Experience with ETL jobs (setup, maintenance, etc.)
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Experience generating reports and analyzing business data
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment
• Experience working in healthcare is preferred
• Experience with NextGen and NexTech is preferred
