Data Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our operations, sales, and installation teams. This role will play a critical part in evaluating performance, identifying trends, and driving smarter business decisions through data.

This is an ideal role for someone who is numbers-driven, naturally curious, and constantly looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales contracts to ensure pricing accuracy, margin consistency, and identify discrepancies
  • Review and interpret installation reports, tracking KPIs such as install time, cost efficiency, and crew performance
  • Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across datasets and translate them into actionable insights
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Google Sheets
  • Forecast trends related to sales performance, installation timelines, and operational efficiency
  • Compare and evaluate solar panel brands, including pricing, efficiency, performance metrics, and ROI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve performance metrics
  • Present findings clearly to leadership, including recommendations for improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to identify trends and translate data into insights and forecasts
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills—ability to explain data to non-technical audiences
  • Self-starter mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data analysis, business analytics, or operations analytics
  • Experience in construction, solar, or home services industries (a plus)
  • Familiarity with KPI tracking and performance reporting
  • Basic understanding of financial metrics (margin, ROI, cost analysis)

Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
