Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and usability.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other analytics platforms to communicate insights effectively.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into actionable reports and models.
• Implement database design principles for efficient storage and retrieval of data within systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Support project management activities within an Agile framework, including planning sprints, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions.
• Develop automated reporting solutions using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), or other scripting languages to streamline recurring tasks.
• Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality control and seamless integration of new analytics tools or features.
• Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform strategic initiatives across departments.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data workflows, system architecture diagrams in Visio, and process maps for transparency and future reference.
• Engage in Linked Data initiatives by integrating external datasets to enrich analysis capabilities.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst with a strong portfolio of completed projects demonstrating advanced analysis skills.
• Proficiency in SQL programming for querying relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for creating compelling dashboards.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as Talend or similar platforms for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Familiarity with programming languages including R and Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks.
• Understanding of database design principles along with experience working with large datasets in enterprise environments.
• Experience working within Agile project management methodologies to deliver iterative analytics solutions efficiently.

Pay: $52,735.91 - $63,509.91 per year
