Data Analyst

Business Data Analysis and Decision Support

• Responsible for data analysis, business analysis, and Business Intelligence support for relevant business lines in the New Jersey office, driving data driven and refined business operations.
• Support daily data requests from business teams, including ad hoc analysis, campaign reviews, business monitoring, anomaly diagnosis, and temporary analysis support.
• Work with business teams to define core metric standards, calculation logic, and analysis dimensions, and continuously build standardized metric systems and data governance practices.
• Deliver verifiable data results, SQL logic, analysis reports, and business conclusions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
• Analyze user growth, conversion, retention, trading behavior, and business performance based on business goals, and provide practical optimization recommendations.

Finance and Fiat Business Data Support

• Support finance related data extraction, reconciliation, and business analysis, including account reconciliation, cost analysis, fund flow tracking, and monitoring of key business metrics.
• Responsible for daily maintenance, optimization, and stable delivery of reports and data systems for the fiat business line.
• Assist in identifying and resolving data anomalies, inconsistent metric definitions, and data pipeline issues, continuously improving data quality and data governance.
• Establish monitoring mechanisms for key business metrics to improve data transparency and operational efficiency for finance and fiat related businesses.

Operations and Marketing Data Analysis

• Support data analysis needs for user operations, spot operations, VIP, institutional, Business Development, Public Relations, and European market teams.
• Build and maintain daily reports, weekly reports, business dashboards, and ad hoc analysis systems to support business decision making.
• Evaluate campaign performance, channel quality, and growth results, and provide growth insights and strategy recommendations.
• Promote the development of data products and systematic analysis frameworks based on business stages and goals.

AI Data Analysis and Efficiency Improvement

• Explore and promote the implementation of AI in data analysis scenarios, including natural language data queries, automated analysis, intelligent reporting, and data insights.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Databricks AI, and Copilot to improve data analysis efficiency and business response speed.
• Participate in building AI assisted analysis workflows, including prompt optimization, analysis template development, and data analysis automation practices.
• Continuously follow AI application trends in Business Intelligence, data analysis, and data governance, and promote the adoption of best practices within the team.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 or more years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or Business Intelligence.
• Able to independently complete requirement clarification, data extraction, analytical modeling, and conclusion delivery.
• Experience in internet, fintech, trading platforms, e-commerce, or related industries is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries, including multi-table joins, aggregation, window functions, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with big data analysis environments such as Hive, Spark, or Databricks is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and skilled in at least one Business Intelligence tool, such as DataWind, Tableau, Power BI, FineBI, or similar tools, for data visualization and dashboard building.
• Strong basic statistical analysis skills, including year over year and month over month analysis, funnel analysis, retention analysis, user segmentation, and anomaly fluctuation analysis.
• Experience using Python, especially pandas, for data processing, automated analysis, or data cleaning is preferred.

AI Application Skills

• Familiar with the use of mainstream AI tools in data analysis scenarios, with practical experience in AI assisted analysis preferred.
• Able to use AI to improve efficiency in SQL writing, data exploration, analysis report generation, and operations analysis.
• Interested in or experienced with AI plus Business Intelligence, intelligent analytics, and natural language data query tools.
• Experience with AI data products, intelligent data query platforms, or analytical automation projects is preferred.

Soft Skills

• Strong business understanding, with the ability to translate business problems into analyzable data questions.
• Strong logical thinking, communication, coordination, and cross functional collaboration skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to prioritize effectively and drive progress in a multi task environment.
• Good documentation habits and strong awareness of data standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cryptocurrency, exchanges, futures or spot trading, payments, or fiat related businesses.
• Experience building metric systems, data governance frameworks, or business analysis systems.
• Experience with Databricks, natural language data queries, Large Language Model applications, or automated analysis projects.
• Good English reading and writing skills, with the ability to support overseas business communication and analysis.
