The Data Analyst, Logistics Business Improvement, functions as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) dedicated to enhancing transparency within transportation and logistics cost structures. This strategic role is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics tools and Power BI dashboards that provide real-time, actionable insights. Core Responsibilities

Analytics Development:
Design and maintain sophisticated Power BI dashboards and data visualizations to track workstreams, project timelines, and logistical performance metrics.

Strategic Insight:
Analyze reporting requirements to establish standardized processes, advising on necessary data structures and conducting functional testing for new reporting standards.

Process Optimization:
Execute root cause analysis and exception reporting to monitor and enhance global supply chain and transportation logistics processes.

Project Leadership:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, ensuring all deliverables meet defined timelines and align with organizational priorities.

Cross-Functional Liaison:
Collaborate with IT and Global Business Process Owners to execute SAP system changes and drive consensus on process improvements.

Performance Monitoring:
Generate comprehensive performance analytics, including benchmarking, carrier performance, rail maintenance, and truck retention metrics.

Data Governance:
Identify and promote best practices for data architecture and set-up, ensuring the sustainability of project benefits through appropriate business metrics.

Infrastructure Management:
Build and maintain SharePoint or equivalent collaboration environments to facilitate seamless data integration and stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related business field.

Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated experience with SAP, Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau.

Data Engineering:
Advanced proficiency in MS SQL Server, DAX, Power Query, and complex data computations.

Industry Experience:
Proven experience in Commercial Supply Chain and Transportation Operations.

Software Expertise:
High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications
