About The Role

Idenfo is a RegTech product company operating in the AML/KYC space. We are looking for a Data Analyst – AI & Automation to join our team, where data, automation, and applied AI directly impact product performance and client outcomes.

This is a core product-facing data role , working closely with Development, SQA, DevOps, and Product teams . You will own data analytics, automation workflows, and innovation initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and intelligence across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Data Automation & Pipelines

• Build and maintain automated data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
• Implement data quality checks, delta comparisons, and monitoring mechanisms
• Reduce manual effort through Python-based automation
  
  
  

AI, NLP & Innovation

• Support and enhance AI-driven initiatives, including LLM-based tools, intelligent search, or chatbot-style solutions
• Work with RAG-based workflows, NLP pipelines, or rule-enhanced AI systems relevant to AML use cases
• Continuously explore emerging data and AI technologies and propose practical implementations
  
  
  

Database & Performance Optimization

• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for analytics and operational use
• Improve database structures and query performance in collaboration with the development team
  
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Developers, SQA, and DevOps to ensure data reliability across environments
• Collaborate with Compliance and Product teams to translate regulatory and business requirements into data solutions
• Present insights and recommendations to senior management and leadership
  
  
  

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards for Name Screening metrics
• Deliver actionable insights from large operational and compliance datasets
• Support internal stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis, trends, and performance reporting
  
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• 2–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in a tech product company
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python (data analysis, scripting, automation)
• Advanced SQL skills (joins, performance tuning, query optimization)
• Proven experience with Power BI (dashboards, data modeling, DAX basics)
• Solid understanding of data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation
• Experience working with production data systems in collaboration with Dev teams
  
  
  

Good to Have

• Exposure to AML, KYC, FinTech, or RegTech data
• Experience with web scraping and handling unstructured datasets
• Familiarity with LLMs, NLP frameworks, LangChain, or RAG-based systems
• Experience using Git / Bitbucket in collaborative environments
