Job Summary:
The Data Analyst supports the Assessment and Analytics program by transforming performance and assessment data into clear, accurate, and actionable insights for Government stakeholders. This role is responsible for analyzing program data, developing reports and visualizations, and supporting data-driven decision-making across assessment, selection, and training pipelines.
The Data Analyst works closely with program leadership, technical personnel, and Government users to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and operationally relevant manner.
Primary Responsibilities:

Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support leadership decision-making

Support data collection, validation, and quality control across datasets

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reports and analytics

Collaborate with program leadership to understand reporting requirements and analytical needs

Translate analytical findings into clear, concise summaries and visual products

Support development and refinement of performance metrics and reporting outputs

Assist with maintaining and querying historical databases as required

Apply data visualization best practices to ensure clarity, usability, and accessibility

Support preparation of briefings, reports, and program documentation

Adhere to security, access, and data protection requirements

Adapt analytical products to evolving program requirements and priorities

Maintain professional standards of conduct and accountability throughout all program activities
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data visualization roles

Proficiency developing reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI

Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and visualization principles

Ability to analyze complex datasets and identify meaningful trends and insights

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain clearance throughout contract performance

Ability to successfully complete RAPIDGate/DBDS vetting and obtain unescorted access to a military installation
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting military or government programs

Familiarity with assessment, selection, or training data environments

Experience developing data products for senior leadership or operational stakeholders

Experience supporting SOF or other operational training pipelines

Advanced degree (e.g. Master’s or PhD) in a relevant discipline, such as Data Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field

Familiarity with Palantir’s Foundry Platform or DoD equivalent (e.g. Envision, Vantage)
