Data Analyst – D2C & Growth
Location: Mumbai (In Office) Prabhadevi
Experience: 2-4 years

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst – D2C & Growth to own the analytics and dashboarding backbone of our D2C business. This role will convert data from website, marketing, CRM and operations into clear dashboards and insights that directly drive revenue, retention and profitability for our brand.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and own all core business dashboards (daily, weekly, monthly) for website, marketing, CRM and revenue performance.
  • Define and maintain the single source of truth for D2C metrics: traffic, CVR, AOV, CAC, LTV, repeat rate, retention and contribution margin.
  • Set up, maintain and improve website and funnel tracking (GA4 or similar) across the full journey: homepage → PDP → cart → checkout → payment.
  • Analyse funnel drop-offs, user journeys and on-site behaviour to identify friction points and opportunities for CRO and UX improvements.
  • Consolidate performance marketing data (Meta, Google, affiliates, influencers, etc.) into unified views of CAC, ROAS and payback by campaign, channel and cohort.
  • Track retention, repeat behaviour and LTV by channel, campaign and key customer segments, and feed insights into CRM and product decisions.
  • Own core business MIS: automated revenue, orders, units, category and product performance reports for weekly and monthly reviews.
  • Support demand planning and inventory decisions with sales trend, category performance and assortment analysis.
  • Collaborate with tech / external partners to ensure robust tracking, data flows and event definitions across website, payment and logistics systems.
  • Ensure data quality: regularly reconcile dashboards with platform numbers and proactively identify and fix tracking or data issues.
  • Design, measure and analyse A/B tests and experiments across pricing, offers, landing pages, creatives and journeys.
  • Present clear, narrative-led insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in simple language, not just numbers.

Required skills and experience

  • 2–4 years of hands-on data analytics experience, with at least 2+ years in D2C / e-commerce / consumer internet.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivots, lookups, formulas, basic modeling).
  • Experience with building end-to-end dashboards.
  • Practical experience with GA4 (or similar web analytics tools); understanding of events, parameters, UTMs and user journeys.
  • Solid understanding of digital and growth metrics: CPC, CTR, CPA/CAC, ROAS, payback period, cohorts, LTV, funnel KPIs and CRM metrics.
  • Ability to work with multiple data sources (ad platforms, website analytics, CRM tools, payment gateways, logistics, marketplaces) and create unified reporting.
  • Strong business acumen in consumer brands: ability to translate data into insights, hypotheses and clear action points.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working closely with growth, CRM, product and leadership teams in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Indian premium / aspirational D2C brands (beauty, personal care, fashion, health, F&B, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Python/R for automation and advanced analysis (APIs, data cleaning, simple models).
  • Exposure to marketing automation / CRM platforms and their reporting.

Pay: ₹679,195.69 - ₹713,782.71 per year
