Data Analyst / Data Engineer (Entry-Level)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst / Data Engineer to support data-driven decision-making and improve operational efficiency. This role combines data analysis, database management, and hands-on problem-solving to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and actionable insights across business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational and customer data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain SQL-based tools for data validation, improving accuracy and reducing errors.
• Query, clean, and manage relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQLite) to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Conduct root cause analysis to investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines to process and prepare large datasets for analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and data systems.
• Generate insights through SQL queries and data analysis to support business decisions.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL and Microsoft DYNAMICS
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, SQLite, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and data validation techniques.
• Experience with data analysis libraries such as pandas and tools like Excel or Power BI.
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and model development.
• Experience with web technologies (Flask, React) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience building full-stack or machine learning applications.
• Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with software testing and automation tools (e.g., Selenium).

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
