DATA ANALYST FOR IMPORT/EXPORT

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with a deep understanding of Pakistan Customs HSCODE and duty calculation and advanced Excel capabilities. This role is critical for transforming raw trade data into strategic insights that drive our import-export analysis.

### Key Responsibilities

• Customs Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to monitor shipment statuses and duty structures.

• Import/Export Trends: Identify and forecast trends in, freight costs, and trade volumes to optimize supply chain timing.

• Compliance Monitoring: Audit HS (Harmonized System) Code classifications to calculate accurate duty and taxes amount

• Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain automated Excel-based dashboards to track KPIs such as Landed Cost, Clearance Lead Time, and Tax Reconciliations.

• Legal Matter Update: Stay updated on FBR SROs (Statutory Regulatory Orders) and trade policy changes to assess their impact on business costs.

### Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science.

• Excel Mastery: You must be proficient in:

o Advanced Formulas (XLOOKUP, Nested IFS, Indirect).

o Power Query for data cleaning and transformation.

o Pivot Tables/Charts for executive reporting.

o Bonus: VBA or Macros for process automation.

• Domain Knowledge: * Strong familiarity with Pakistan Customs Act 1969.

o Hands-on experience with HS Code classification and valuation rulings and duty calaculation.

o Understanding of Import/Export documentation (L/C, GDs, Bill of Lading, Form-E).

• Experience: 2–4 years in a similar analytical role within a trading house, logistics firm, or manufacturing unit.
