Job Description:
With an emphasis serving schools with diverse and low-socioeconomic student populations and non-traditional learning environments, Skyrocket leadership has over a century’s worth of combined experience leading schools and operational support teams. Skyrocket’s niche expertise is in the intersection between academic and administrative performance.
The Data Analyst will primarily have a home office, but will be attend a minimum of 20-30 days per year in person in Pasadena CA at Skyrockets Headquarters. This time will include training, department meetings, professional development and company events. We have fun when we get together!!
Hourly Pay Rate - $22.00 - $26.00 - Depending on experience.
Hours - Monday - Friday - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*
  • Track deliverables, monitor progress, analyze data and create digestible visualizations to prove the effectiveness of training or implementation.
  • Troubleshoot issues and complications, whether technical or implementation based, and create action plans or remedies for any issue that arises regarding digital curriculum or the hosting platforms.
  • Research protocols and operating policies to ensure effectiveness and quality assurance compliant use of curriculum for clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and manage separate databases for programs.
  • Assist as needed in the tracking and collection of data for curricular programs.
  • Create reports to evaluate effectiveness of company educational programs using testing, demographic, and curriculum data.
  • Collect, format, and distribute data from public sources as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • High level proficiency in Google Sheets, as well as proficiency in Docs, Slides, Gmail etc.
  • Comfortable with data visualization tools like Tableau or Data Studio.
  • Ability to identify designated department needs and independently resolve potential problems.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new software and programs as needed.
  • Ability to follow up on task commitments and give updates as needed.
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently and meet deadlines, while maintaining courtesy and professionalism.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a tolerance for working on multiple projects simultaneously while remaining highly organized.
  • Upbeat, positive, outgoing, personable and able to relate well with diverse populations and age groups.
  • A commitment to the mission and core values of the company.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Related training or experience required.
  • Experience with sheets/excel/databases preferred.
