Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical intern (or temporary project contributor) to help rebuild and optimize our KPI dashboard in Databox. This project will focus on restoring existing data connections, validating accuracy, and improving how key business metrics are tracked and visualized. The end goal is to deliver a reliable, user-friendly dashboard that provides actionable insights to leadership and operational teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in data analytics, business intelligence, and real-world problem solving.

This is a temporary, project-based role that can be structured as either full-time for approximately two months or part-time over approximately four months, depending on the candidate’s availability. The position is based out of our central office in Greenwood Village, CO, with some flexibility in scheduling. This role is ideal for a current college student or recent graduate seeking hands-on experience in data analytics and business intelligence, and internship credit can be supported if needed. Compensation for this position is $20/hour.
Responsibilities:
Rebuild and troubleshoot KPI dashboards within Databox
Audit and validate existing data sources for accuracy and consistency
Reconnect or recreate integrations (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, third-party tools)
Design clear, effective data visualizations for business users
Analyze operational data and generate actionable insights
Work with leadership to define and refine key performance indicators
Document dashboard structure, data sources, and processes for long-term maintenance
Assist with data querying and data organization tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Ability to write database queries using MySQL and understand advanced database schemas.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies is a plus
Strong understanding of tech and software development best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google sheets and strong data analysis skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges quickly
A self-starter who can take ownership of a defined project
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to translate data into clear, meaningful insights
Comfortable working across both technical and business teams
Organized and able to manage priorities within a project timeline
