PURPOSE: The Data Analyst plays a critical organizational role by supporting data-informed decision-making across all Entre Hermanos programs—including HIV services (Ryan White Part A & B), Prevention/Department of Health-funded initiatives, Legal Services, Development, and Communications.

This position ensures that program impact, client experience, community engagement, and operational effectiveness are measured accurately, analyzed thoughtfully, and communicated clearly. Working under direct supervision, the Data Analyst gathers, organizes, and interprets data that reflects the lived experiences of the Latino/a/x LGBTQIA+ community.

The role supports the organization’s Clinical Quality Management (CQM) initiatives, helps evaluate service accessibility and outcomes, strengthens donor and community engagement strategies, and ensures reporting compliance with funders at the city, county, state, and federal levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Data Collection, Quality, and Management

· Collects, cleans, and manages data across all EH departments, including:

o Ryan White Part A services (NMCM, EFA, Housing, MT, Food/Meals, PSS)

o Ryan White Part B Medical Case Management (clinical retention, acuity, viral load outcomes)

o Prevention & Outreach (HIV/STI testing, DOH deliverables, event-based encounters)

o Legal Services (immigration, asylum, family law, DV case metrics)

o Development (donor engagement, campaign performance, fundraising trends)

o Marketing & Communications (website analytics, social media engagement, radio campaigns)

· Maintains accurate, confidential program records and data systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, funder requirements, and internal data privacy policies.

· Develops and organizes user-friendly dashboards and standardized reporting tools for staff and leadership.

Clinical Quality Management & Continuous Improvement

· Supports the co-coordination and implementation of the organization’s Quality Management Program (QMP).

· Collaborates with program leadership to track QM performance indicators, client satisfaction results, and service accessibility trends.

· Prepares analyses for CQM Committee meetings (bi-monthly), including survey performance measures, viral suppression trends, retention rates, and service utilization.

· Supports PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycles by assessing test-of-change outcomes, identifying barriers, and recommending next steps.

Survey & Client Experience Analysis

· Manages Entre Hermanos’ multi-tiered bilingual survey system (Tier 1 general satisfaction + Tier 2 expanded Feedback)

· Extracts and analyses feedback on:

o Service quality and satisfaction

o Case manager-specific metrics

o Barriers to care, resource access and communication

o Client demographics and trends

· Prepares bi-monthly survey summaries highlighting actionable insights for program improvement.

Development, Donor Engagement & Communications Analytics

· Analyzes donor engagement patterns, online giving trends, campaign performance, and fundraising ROI.

· Prepares data summaries and visuals for grant applications, annual reports, board updates, and donor stewardship materials.

· Collaborates with the Communications Director to assess the impact of outreach efforts, community events, digital marketing, and public education campaigns.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Capacity Building

· Trains staff on data entry best practices, dashboards, and reporting workflows.

· Provides technical support to improve program efficiency, tracking systems, and workflow consistency.

· Performs miscellaneous data-related duties as assigned to support agency goals.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

· Demonstrates deep cultural sensitivity and humility when serving diverse communities, particularly Latinx LGBTQIA+ individuals, immigrants, and people living with HIV.

· Communicates complex data with empathy, clarity, and accessibility, adapting tone for staff, partners, and community audiences.

· Applies trauma-informed principles when interpreting and presenting data related to sensitive topics.

· Advocates for equitable access by identifying systemic barriers and presenting data that elevates client and community needs.

· Manages competing priorities with accuracy, accountability, and professionalism in fast-paced environments.

· Maintains strict confidentiality, particularly regarding client data, case management documentation, and legal case records.

· Demonstrates proficiency in digital tools, including data visualization software, case management systems, and Microsoft/Google Workspace.

· Communicates effectively in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, with cultural nuance.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

· Two or more years of experience analyzing data in public health, social services, legal services, or nonprofit settings.

· Demonstrated experience using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools.

· Experience presenting data to community groups, boards, funders, or public audiences.

· Understanding of HIV care frameworks, immigrant legal service needs, LGBTQIA+ health disparities, and harm reduction.

· Strong understanding of and sensitivity to the lived experiences of people living with HIV/AIDS, especially within immigrant, LGBTQIA+, and Latino/a/x communities

· Commitment to strict confidentiality, ethical service delivery, and maintaining professional boundaries in client interactions

· Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written), with the ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of monolingual clients and diverse community partners.

· Deep respect for cultural differences and a demonstrated ability to engage meaningfully with the Latino/a/x community

· Willingness to grow professionally through learning new skills, completing trainings, and staying informed on evolving best practices in HIV care and case management

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a supportive, mission-driven work culture

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Salary: $70,000-$75,000 depending on experience

STAFF-WIDE EXPECTATIONS

· Tax Class / FSLA Status: 40 hours per week, full benefits, non-exempt

· Schedule:

o Regular Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

· Location: This role is based at the Entre Hermanos Yakima Office (602 E Yakima Ave, Suite 104, Yakima, WA 98901). Traveling to the Seattle office as needed.
