Position Summary
:

The RGL Data Analyst transforms complex data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, trade efficiency, and promotional effectiveness. This role builds and manages analytical tools, models, and reporting systems to support pricing, trade, and pack architecture decisions across channels and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources, including syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Circana), retailer POS, financial systems, and internal trade databases.

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability of RGL reporting.

  • Partner with IT and Finance to ensure alignment of data definitions, structures, and reporting processes.

  • Build advanced models (e.g., elasticity, promotional ROI, mix modeling, forecasting) to measure and predict revenue growth opportunities.

  • Conduct scenario simulations to evaluate the impact of pricing, promotion, and pack architecture decisions.

  • Identify key revenue drivers, risks, and opportunities by analyzing performance across customers, channels, and geographies.

  • Develop dashboards and self-service reporting tools in BI platforms (Power BI).

  • Automate recurring reporting and analysis to increase speed and reduce manual effort.

  • Build custom tools and calculators to support Sales, Marketing, and Finance decision-making.

  • Provide Sales with data-driven insights for customer negotiations and trade planning.

  • Partner with Marketing to evaluate brand and pack performance, and with Finance to align revenue forecasts.

  • Deliver reporting and insights to RGL leadership to support strategy development and execution.

  • Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.

  • This position has food Safety Responsibilities.

  • Other responsibilities, as necessary.


Supervisory:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master’s a plus.

  • 2–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, RGM, FP&A, or Category/Trade Analytics within CPG or retail.
