Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and ETL tools such as Talend and Looker.
- Design and develop dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support project management activities within Agile frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of analytics projects aligned with SDLC best practices.
- Perform database design and management using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and linked data sources to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Develop automation scripts using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), or other scripting languages to streamline data processing workflows.
- Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Document processes using Visio and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models and analysis procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends in analytics tools such as Business Analysis techniques, Data Analysis Skills, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle) and ETL processes.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as R and Python for data analysis.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile project management practices.
- Familiarity with database design principles and linked data concepts.
- Ability to perform complex analysis skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with Bash (Unix shell), VBA macros, Talend, Visio, and other relevant tools is a plus.
- Excellent business analysis skills coupled with strong communication abilities to interpret technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively within a fast-paced environment. Pay: $45.00 - $55.54 per hour
