What you’ll do

- Build pixel-perfect Power BI dashboards with fast DAX, clean interactions, and brand-aligned design.
- Design robust data models and Power Query (M) transformations.
- Create paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
- Develop Python data/ETL flows (API & file ingestion, cleaning, orchestration, scheduling).
- Integrate REST APIs (auth, pagination, rate limits, retries, logging).
- Write and optimize SQL Server queries & stored procedures.
- Document pipelines/dashboards (runbooks, data dictionaries, refresh guides).
- Own the UI/UX quality: layout, typography, spacing, color systems, accessibility. (VERY IMPORTANT)

Must-have skills
- Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance tuning, bookmarks/measure tables)
- Power Query (M)
- Power BI Report Builder (paginated)
- SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing basics)
- Python (pandas, requests/httpx; automation/orchestration)
- API integrations (REST/JSON, OAuth2; robust error handling)
- Exceptional UI/UX sense: can justify design choices and keep visuals consistent and accessible

Certifications (Required)
- Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) — must have
- Related Microsoft data/analytics certs are a strong plus (e.g., DP-600, DP-500, DP-203, AZ-900)

Nice to have
- AI/LLM exposure (prompting, embeddings, light model workflows)
- CI/CD and version control for analytics projects
- Figma/design tokens; accessibility best practices
