Job Overview
JJ EC, Inc. is seeking a meticulous and insightful Data Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting complex data, identifying key trends, and generating reports that provide actionable insights to support our strategic business objectives. This role is fundamental to our organisation's success, helping us to make informed, data-driven decisions by transforming raw data into valuable business intelligence. You will collaborate with various departments to understand their analytical needs and deliver clear, comprehensive findings.

Responsibilities
• Acquire and maintain data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring the integrity of our databases and data systems.
• Interpret data and analyse results using advanced statistical techniques to provide ongoing business reports.
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns within complex data sets to support decision-making processes.
• Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and resolve discrepancies.
• Work closely with management and department heads to understand and prioritise business and information needs.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Prepare and present clear, concise reports and visualisations for management, highlighting trends, patterns, and predictions.

Qualifications
• Proven professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Strong technical knowledge of data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• High proficiency in SQL and experience with reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects) and databases.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at creating queries, writing reports, and presenting complex findings in an accessible manner.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., Python, R) would be a significant advantage.
