Overview

We are seeking a Data & Analytics Analyst to support the organization’s growing data infrastructure and reporting needs. This role will own the development of reporting dashboards, data automation workflows, and data architecture across clinical and operational systems.

The ideal candidate will build scalable reporting solutions while helping define the long-term data strategy for the organization. This includes managing data pipelines, supporting healthcare system integrations, and ensuring accurate and compliant data exchange across platforms such as eClinicalWorks (eCW), billing systems, and business intelligence tools.

This role operates at both a tactical and strategic level — building dashboards and pipelines while helping design and maintain the organization’s long-term data architecture.

Role Overview

The Data & Analytics Analyst will support reporting, analytics, and data architecture initiatives across the organization. This role will develop and maintain dashboards, build scalable data pipelines, and help establish standards for data governance and reporting accuracy.

This position will collaborate closely with operations, billing, and leadership teams to ensure key performance metrics and clinical data are reliable, accessible, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

Write advanced SQL queries to extract, validate, and transform data across systems

Design, build, and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools

Develop standardized operational and clinical reporting frameworks

Partner with Operations, Billing, and leadership teams to define KPIs and performance metrics

Maintain documentation for reporting logic, data definitions, and version control

Data Architecture & Data Lake Strategy

Design and maintain the organization’s data lake or warehouse architecture

Establish schema structures, naming conventions, and governance standards

Build and maintain ingestion pipelines from systems including eClinicalWorks (eCW), SFTP feeds, and vendor platforms

Ensure HIPAA-compliant data storage, partitioning, and access controls

Document metadata, data lineage, and data ownership standards

eClinicalWorks (eCW) Data & Interoperability

Maintain strong working knowledge of eClinicalWorks data structure and reporting modules

Manage CCDA imports and structured data updates

Support external data ingestion into eCW

Troubleshoot data discrepancies across systems

Ensure accurate participant and clinical data mapping

Data Governance & Security

Implement HIPAA-compliant data handling practices

Define role-based data access controls and permissions

Develop data validation and audit checks

Create documentation supporting internal and external compliance reviews

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, data engineering, or a related field

Advanced SQL proficiency

Experience building dashboards in Looker, Power BI, or similar BI platforms

Experience designing or managing a data lake or data warehouse

Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW)

Experience managing SFTP-based integrations

Knowledge of healthcare data interoperability standards

Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Experience working in HIPAA-regulated environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in value-based care or multi-state healthcare operations

Familiarity with HL7 or FHIR interoperability standards

Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks

Background working with healthcare revenue cycle or clinical operations data
