Data & Analytics Manager

We are seeking a collaborative, user-focused, and strategically minded Data & Analytics Manager to join our analytics and insights organization. The successful candidate will lead data strategy and delivery, partner with product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define analytics roadmaps, and translate data into actionable insights that drive measurable customer and business outcomes. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent stakeholder management, and experience running analytics projects, data governance, and cross-functional initiatives in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities - Data & Analytics

  • Define and lead the organization’s data and analytics strategy in collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and customer needs.

  • Manage end-to-end analytics delivery: translate business questions into analytic approaches, prioritize work, scope projects, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of dashboards, reports, and analyses.

  • Design and maintain reliable data pipelines and models in partnership with data engineering to ensure data is accurate, timely, and trustworthy for downstream use.

  • Establish and enforce data governance, quality standards, lineage, and documentation to reduce risk and enable self-serve analytics across teams.

  • Define success criteria and metrics for initiatives, instrument tracking, and use quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform product decisions, experiments, and roadmaps.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, automated reports, and ad-hoc analyses that surface insights, monitor business health, and support decision-making at all levels of the organization.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analysts and data practitioners; foster best practices in analysis, visualization, and reproducible workflows.

  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and stakeholder briefings to align priorities, define requirements, and translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and next steps.

  • Manage relationships with external data vendors, analytics providers, and consultants; define scopes of work, acceptance criteria, and evaluate vendor deliverables against expected outcomes.

  • Champion privacy, security, and ethical data use across analytics initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Required Qualifications - Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or similar), or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, data product management, or data engineering-adjacent roles, including at least 2 years leading or mentoring analytics professionals.

  • Proven ability to translate business problems into analytic approaches: define hypotheses, design analyses, and synthesize results into clear recommendations.

  • Strong technical fluency with modern analytics stacks, data modeling, SQL, and experience partnering effectively with engineering and product teams.

  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent) and familiarity with BI best practices for performance and usability.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing data governance, quality monitoring, and lineage practices to maintain trust in data assets.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; experienced presenting actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership and running cross-functional workshops.

  • Comfortable using experimentation and analytics to measure impact and support data-informed decision making.

Preferred Qualifications - Domain & Tools

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift), ETL/ELT tools, and modern orchestration technologies (e.g., dbt, Airflow).

  • Familiarity with analytics engineering practices, data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling), and CI/CD for analytics workflows.

  • Experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel) and experimentation platforms; understanding of A/B testing methodologies.

  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and experience operationalizing privacy-preserving analytics techniques.

  • Prior experience managing vendor pilots, proof-of-concept engagements, and evaluating third-party analytics providers.

  • Graduate degree, certifications in data-related fields, or training in data governance, analytics engineering, or advanced analytics techniques are a plus.

Work Environment & Compensation
  • Full-time role within a collaborative, cross-functional analytics team; onsite presence is expected with flexible scheduling options as appropriate.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience, including health coverage, retirement plan options, paid time off, and professional development support.

  • Opportunities for training, certifications, and career progression in an inclusive and mission-driven organization.

  • We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and foster a respectful work environment that supports work-life balance and employee well-being.
