Data and AI Application Engineer

About Us:

Keystone Sports Construction builds elite athletic facilities across the Mid-Atlantic. We specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of synthetic turf fields, running tracks, hardwood gymnasium flooring, and hardcourt surfaces. We are seeking a versatile individual who enjoys building applications, writing Python and JSON-driven logic, and experimenting with AI and machine learning. This role is ideal for a qualified curious problem-solver who likes variety, ownership, and turning ideas into working tools. Candidate MUST reside within commuting distance.

Job Description:

In this role, you’ll help design, build, and improve internal applications, automation tools, and data workflows that directly support operations and leadership teams. You’ll work across data, backend logic, and lightweight frontend development, with room to explore AI-driven solutions.

**This is a full-time, in-office position (NOT REMOTE) located at our Phoenixville, PA headquarters. You MUST be local or within distance to commute to our office. Interviews will also be held IN PERSON in our Phoenixville, PA office**

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain internal web applications and tools
• Write Python scripts and services for automation and data processing
• Support data pipelines, ETL workflows, and reporting
• Assist with AI and machine learning initiatives, including experimentation and prototyping
• Work with both structured and unstructured data (APIs, spreadsheets, documents)
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and solve high-impact business problems

Qualifications:

• Experience building applications or tools (professional, academic, or personal projects)
• Proficiency in Python and comfort working with JSON and APIs
• Understanding of data fundamentals (SQL, ETL concepts, data cleaning)
• Interest or hands-on experience with AI / machine learning
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• LLMs, Open AI APIs, LangChain, or vector databases
• Automation tools, Docker, and Cursor.

Bachelor’s Degrees preferred : Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Information Technology.

Must reside WITHIN COMMUTING distance to our office in Phoenixville, PA
