Data and Analytics Leader

We are currently looking for a Data and Analytics Leader to be based at our Istanbul Head Office.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from relevant departments of universities,
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data management and analytics,
• Proven leadership in large-scale data projects,
• In-depth knowledge of modern data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.),
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP),
• Expertise in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools,
• Strong business intelligence and strategic thinking skills,
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop the corporate data strategy and vision,
• Establish the data governance model, define data ownership and responsibilities,
• Design and implement a Master Data Management (MDM) strategy; set data quality standards and SLAs,
• Manage the data lifecycle,
• Design modern data architecture (Data Lake, Data Warehouse),
• Manage data integration strategy and tools; implement real-time data processing infrastructure,
• Develop strategy for cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP); optimize data pipelines,
• Conduct performance and capacity planning,
• Establish and manage self-service BI platforms,
• Define standards for dashboards and reporting; develop predictive and prescriptive analytics use cases,
• Establish a Data Science Center of Excellence (CoE) and manage the analytics model lifecycle,
• Turn business insights into actionable outcomes,
• Define and implement data security policies,
• Manage KVKK/GDPR compliance processes; define data classification and sensitivity levels,
• Set up access control and authorization matrices; implement data masking and anonymization strategies,
• Coordinate security audits,
• Build and develop the data team,
• Conduct performance evaluations and career planning; enhance technical competencies,
• Manage data literacy programs and ensure coordination of data projects with stakeholders.
