What we’re looking for:

We are seeking detail-oriented Data Annotators specializing in video annotation to join our team. As a Data Annotator, you will play a critical role in labeling, examining, and annotating video clips to assist computer vision systems. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently analyzing video data and applying manual annotations based on a number of scenarios including but not limited to: identifying behavior, actions, objects, and other elements as required. Strong attention to detail is an absolute must.

This is an on-site position, so if you can only work remotely, this job is not for you.

Our requirements:

• Proven experience in video annotation, preferably in a professional or research environment. Any experience with object detection or tracking is a bonus.
• Strong and clear verbal English communication for voice calls with the client.
• Proficiency in working with various video file formats and platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large volumes of data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new concepts and adapt to changing requirements.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear and concise feedback.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets and Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand annotation guidelines provided with a thorough understanding of subject matter and terminologies after the initial training period.
• Annotate video clips by identifying and labeling objects, actions, events, and other relevant elements using the specified annotation tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve annotation-related queries and provide clarifications when needed.
• Identify and report any issues or inconsistencies in the data or annotation guidelines to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Maintain high productivity and efficiency while ensuring the accuracy and quality of annotations.
• Keep track of progress and manage assigned annotation tasks within specified deadlines.
• Adapt to evolving annotation methodologies and tools, incorporating feedback and improving annotation techniques as required.
• Participate in regular meetings or discussions to share insights, learnings, and best practices with the team.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of annotation processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.

What we offer:

• A monthly salary of 40k PKR.
• Work for 5 days with 2 offs per week. Those 2 off days will be decided by the client.
