This opportunity is for a leading Energy & Gas giant in the UAE. We are hiring a Data Architect to define the blueprint for our data ecosystem. You will structure how data is stored, integrated, and governed, ensuring that our information assets are organized, secure, and accessible for advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data models (logical and physical) to support business processes and analytics.
• Define data architecture standards, policies, and principles to ensure data consistency and interoperability.
• Collaborate with solution architects to integrate data platforms with wider enterprise applications.
• Establish data governance frameworks, including master data management (MDM) and reference data strategies.
• Map data flows across systems to ensure clear lineage and traceability.
• Evaluate and recommend database technologies and data management tools.
• Ensure data architecture complies with security and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5 – 15 years of experience
• Strong proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, Erwin) and SQL.
• Deep understanding of different data modeling techniques (Dimensional modeling, Data Vault, 3NF).
• Experience with modern data platforms (Cloud Data Warehouses, Data Lakes).
• Knowledge of data governance practices and metadata management.

Bonus

• DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
• Experience in the Energy sector dealing with subsurface or production data.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and graph databases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month
