Job Description Must-Have Requirements

• Extensive experience in data platforms like big data, event streaming, ETL, data virtualization, advanced analytics, data governance, data warehousing, and master data management.
• Must have demonstrable solution architecture experience around data technologies.
• Must have a strong business acumen and ability to articulate solutions into effective and consumable documentation by architects, platform engineers and executives.
• Must be a design thinker, achiever and effective in communication.
• Must have working experience articulating, enforcing and governing data architecture principles.
• Must have strong skills around applying different architecture patterns most suitable to the given business problem.

Good-to-Have

• Preferred to have solution delivery and design around Talend ETL, Informatica MDM, Spark, Confluent Kafka, IIAS DB2, Oracle ExaCC, Cloudera.
• Should be familiar with AI / ML with sound fundamentals.

Responsibilities & Expectations

Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end solutions that meet the business requirements and align with the bank's strategic goals and IT roadmap. Understand the On-Prem, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Solution offerings.

Banking Domain Expertise: Leverage deep domain knowledge of banking and financial services to understand business processes, challenges, and opportunities, and translate them into technical solutions.

Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and tools in the banking industry and provide recommendations for their adoption and integration into the bank's IT landscape.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Security and Compliance: Ensure that solution designs comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices for data privacy, security, and compliance.

Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with solution implementation, including technical risks, dependencies, and constraints.

Documentation and Governance: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, architectural diagrams, and design artifacts, and ensure adherence to architectural governance processes. Prepare design artefacts including current & target solution architectures, use case & sequence diagrams, NFRs.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and agility of solution delivery processes and methodologies.
