Data Center HVAC Engineer

Skilled and motivated HVAC Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of data centers in the UAE. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in precision cooling systems and communicates confidently within the team and external contractors or customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on precision cooling units (CRAC, CRAH, CCU), including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and maintain precision cooling systems, including airflow management, temperature/humidity control, and overall system performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot chilled water systems, including pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and related control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot DX (Direct Expansion) cooling systems used in data center environments.
• Ensure all cooling systems meet required uptime, reliability, and performance standards for mission critical environments.
• Support routine inspections, capacity checks, load testing, and continuous system health monitoring.
• Coordinate with the team and vendors for planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, reports, and improvement recommendations.
• Provide hands on support to the team whenever required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC experience, preferably in data centers, critical facilities, hospitals, or similar high availability environments.
• Hands on experience with precision cooling units (CRAC, CRAH), chilled water systems, and DX systems.
• Strong understanding of airflow management, redundancy concepts, temperature & humidity control, and critical environment cooling strategies.
• Good English with strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot technical emergencies, and support 24/7 operations when required.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
