Data Center Infrastructure – Project Execution

Job Description

· The Data Center Infrastructure Engineer – Project Execution is responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of data center infrastructure during project execution.

· The role ensures that all civil, electrical, mechanical, and IT-related systems are implemented according to design specifications, industry standards, and project timelines.

· The engineer will coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution and high-quality delivery of data center infrastructure.

Competency Skills

· Supervise the installation of data center infrastructure, including racks, cabling (fiber and copper), power systems, cooling systems, and fire suppression systems.

· Ensure all works are carried out according to design drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

· Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to project management.

· Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Conduct quality inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems before handover.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards, data center operational policies, and regulatory requirements.

· Maintain accurate documentation of installation works, as-built drawings, and technical reports.

· Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
