Data Center Technician

Duties and responsibilities:

• Performs installation, operation, monitoring, and health check of DC critical power systems i.e. UPS, AVRs, PDU, ATS, Electrical panels, Power generator, and others

• Performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of DC critical power systems i.e. UPS, AVRs, PDU, ATS, Electrical panels, Power generator, and others

• Performs installation, operation, monitoring, and health check of DC critical cooling systems i.e. CRAC, In-row Cooling, CCU, Air ventilation, chiller and others

• Performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of DC critical cooling systems i.e. CRAC, In-row Cooling, CCU, Air ventilation, chiller and others

• Performs installation, operation, monitoring, and health check of essential infrastructure systems of DC i.e. leak detection system, ACS, CCTV, BMS, VESDA, FDAS, and others

• Performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of essential infrastructure systems of DC i.e. leak detection system, ACS, CCTV, BMS, VESDA, FDAS, and others

• Performs installation, operation, monitoring, and health check of essential IT equipment systems DC i.e. Structured cabling, Patching cable, Containment, IT rack, and others

• Performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of essential IT equipment systems DC i.e. Structured cabling, Patching cable, Containment, IT rack, and others

• Assists and works with supplier and contractor to finish the assigned work

• Performs and accomplishes assign works with quality workmanship standard

• Attends and response to an instruction and assignment given in DC Facility and by DC management

• Response to an emergency call or call-out of technical support either remotely and/or at site

• Conducts site survey, requirement analysis, and estimation as assigned

• Interacts and communicates with the co-workers and team member regularly

• Demonstrates professionalism at all time

• Provides training to co-workers as per his knowledge and expertise

• Follow security procedure to protect data center assets and sensitive information

• Manages DC store inventory i.e. physical count, and update inventory report

• Do other duties as assign from time to time by DC team management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
