Data Collection, Integration & ML Associate

Punjab Oil Mills Ltd is building a data-driven forecasting platform to support short- and medium-term decision-making. We’re looking for a hands-on Data Collection, Integration & ML Associate to support this project.

In this role, you’ll work directly with the project lead to collect and clean global datasets, build simple ingestion pipelines, and prepare ML-ready time-series features for baseline forecasting models. You should be comfortable working with Python, public APIs, and structured datasets, and be able to convert raw information into clean, usable data.

What you’ll do:

1. Collect and maintain datasets from official global sources

2. Build structured, well-documented data tables and ingestion scripts

3. Clean, standardize, and align time-series data

4. Prepare features for ML models and support basic forecasting experiments

5. Document sources, transformations, and results clearly

What we’re looking for:

- Good Python and strong Excel skills

- Experience with APIs, CSV/JSON data, and time-series basics

- Strong attention to detail and good written communication

- SQL and ML familiarity is a plus

Contract: 3–6 months (renewable), flexible hours, remote/hybrid.
