Job Summary:
Recyclexpert FZE is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Destruction & ITAD Technician to handle secure data erasure, degaussing, and physical destruction of IT assets in compliance with industry standards and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform secure data wiping using certified software (e.g., Blancco / BitRaser standards)
• Operate degaussing machines for magnetic media destruction
• Conduct physical hard drive shredding and dismantling
• Execute onsite and offsite data destruction projects at client locations
• Maintain detailed logs, audit trails, and certificates of destruction
• Ensure compliance with Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) guidelines and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST 800-88) standards
• Support warehouse operations and asset tracking

Requirements:

• Experience in IT hardware handling, ITAD, or electronics recycling preferred
• Basic knowledge of data wiping / formatting / storage devices (HDD, SSD, servers)
• Ability to handle machinery (shredders, degaussers)
• Physically fit and able to handle equipment
• High level of integrity and confidentiality (critical requirement)
• UAE driving license (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with R2v3 or ISO-compliant environments
• Familiarity with asset inventory systems
• Previous field service / onsite technician experience
