Data Development Analyst

Sage is searching for a Data Development Analyst to join our growing Global Routes to Revenue (RTR) Performance & Planning team. RTR leads GTM design, commercial modeling, revenue planning, and the analytics framework used to measure GTM performance. Reporting to the Data Development Manager, you will help build an end-to-end GTM analytics suite (beginning with Sage Intacct), connecting commercial drivers across Finance, Marketing, and Operations through scalable data and insights. You must brings strong hands-on experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and end-to-end data warehouse and BI/analytics implementations.

Building and managing the deliverables for the global GTM analytics reporting Suite (starting with the Intacct product), including:

Creating and managing cohesive marketing, operational and financial data asset

Designing data ETL models and schemas to meet business needs, curating and documenting everything in a detailed process note.

Working closely with the GTM Analytics & Insights team to support them in creating an interactive global reporting suite using the above dataset.

Establish a reporting infrastructure for monthly/quarterly performance review reports for multiple stakeholders across different functions.

Assist with problem management by actively engaging in identifying issues and subsequent solutions, whilst working collaboratively across teams and managing associated risks

Help build the analytics framework for ad-hoc projects which inform commercial model decisions.

Dive into areas of the business and conduct root cause analysis and support senior leaders to effect change where required.

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of ETL tools such as SQL, Alteryx, Snowflake etc

Working knowledge of some analytical tools, such as SQL Server, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, PowerPivot/complex Excel, or any other related technologies

Ability to manipulate and transform large volumes of operational and financial data into key performance indicators

Some accounting knowledge, whether basic or advanced

Demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams and being able to work under own initiative under tight timeframes
