Pay Range: $75,160.02 to $112,740.16
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

About the Role
As a Data Engineer at Kwik Trip, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure that power business insights and decision-making. This role focuses on creating scalable solutions for data ingestion, processing, and integration while ensuring accuracy and reliability across systems.
What You’ll Do

Build, test, and maintain data pipelines and integrations

Design and evolve infrastructure to ingest, process, and extract meaning from data

Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions

Develop real-time integrations when required

Assist in creating and updating technical documentation and data flow diagrams

Support technical roadmaps using emerging data technologies

Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and correlations

Perform data cleansing, normalization, and model updates

Design and implement statistical models and natural language processing modules
What We’re Looking For
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field

0–2 years of experience in data engineering or similar role

Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases

Familiarity with big data technologies and building scalable data architectures

Strong analytical skills for working with unstructured datasets

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Even Better If You Have

Proficiency in Python, Scala, or R

Experience with data lakes, data streams, Databricks, and Snowflake

Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, or Talend

Familiarity with software development best practices and source control

Understanding of message queuing and stream processing
