About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure clean, consistent, and timely access to data across the organization. This role is critical to enabling data-driven decision-making and building a modern data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources.

Build and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming platforms.

Work with structured and unstructured data from internal and third-party sources.

Optimize data systems for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define data models and integrate business logic into pipelines.

Ensure high data quality through validation, monitoring, and automated testing.

Implement and enforce data governance, security, and privacy best practices.

Monitor, debug, and optimize data workflows using observability and logging tools.

Maintain documentation of data pipelines, schemas, and operational processes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

2–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused engineering role.

Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java).

Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend, Informatica).

Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).

Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).

Experience with version control (Git) and working in CI/CD environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of data privacy laws (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and security best practices.

Knowledge of data cataloging and lineage tools (e.g., Alation, Amundsen, DataHub).

Background in DevOps or MLOps is a plus.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
