We are looking for Data Engineer who will be on our team.

What you will be doing

• You'll brainstorm with other team members to conceptualize and build new features for our products.
• You’ll produce high-quality data pipelines by contributing heavily to team projects that have a significant impact on the business.
• You’ll actively own team features or systems and define their long-term health, while also improving the health of surrounding systems.
• You'll assist our skilled support team and operations team in triaging and resolving production issues.

What you should have

• You’ve been building robust data pipelines professionally for 0+ years. :)
• You have familiarity with functional or imperative programming languages -- e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, C, or Java.
• You have familiriaty with or interest in technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, Google Cloud BigQuery, Elasticsearch.
• You have strong analytical skills and firm understanding of relational and non-relational database systems.
• You write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability.
• You are a strong communicator.
• You possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
• You have completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
