Data Engineer

Your mission is to design, create and maintain blueprints that leverage our data fabric to clean, curate and transform data. You possess a profound knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform and have experience creating workflows for data transformations using Dataform.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling complex data problems and is eager to learn new tools and technologies. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring data flows seamlessly and securely to clients, supporting both operational needs and strategic initiatives.

You will work as part of a development team that designs, builds and maintains high performant and maintainable code. It is a unique and challenging role that calls for a strong passion for quality and technology, while providing an immense opportunity to design and develop wide reaching code.
The role includes work on architecture design, business logic, requirements gathering, data modelling and quality assurance.

• We are looking for creative people with a passion for programming and an eye for detail.
• A recognized academic background in Computer Science
• Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Dataform, BigQuery and Pub/Sub.
• We prefer candidates who have experience using AI to accelerate building data pipelines.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Experience with test-driven development
