Job Description:

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines on our modern lakehouse stack
• Develop and maintain batch and streaming ingestion processes for mission-critical banking data
• Implement clean, reliable data models using the Medallion architecture
• Ensure pipeline performance, reliability, and observability with best practices in monitoring, testing, and lineage
• Support data quality by building automated checks
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data environment, engineering standard

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in high-volume data environments
• Hands-on experience with Spark (PySpark/Scala) and distributed data processing
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience with object storage (S3 or compatible) and modern table formats (Iceberg/Delta/Hudi)
• Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Knowledge of database fundamentals, data warehousing, medallion architecture and data modeling for analytics
• Nice-to-have: Talend, dbt, Kafka/streaming systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
