Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team for a 6-month Contract-to-Hire engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data warehousing solutions, with a solid background in BI, SQL, Python, and ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data processing
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval
• Develop and maintain data solutions using Python
• Perform data modelling including dimensional modelling, star schema, and fact/lookup table design
• Design and implement data warehousing solutions
• Build and support ETL/ELT workflows
• Enable BI reporting and analytics pipelines
• Manage and support production data processing environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across geographies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong expertise in SQL (advanced querying and performance tuning)
• Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering
• Proven experience in Data Modelling (dimensional modelling, star schema)
• Strong background in Data Warehousing (design and implementation)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks
• Experience building and managing end-to-end data pipelines
• Exposure to BI tools and analytics enablement
• Experience working with production-grade data systems

Working Hours

• 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST
• Flexibility required, with up to 4 hours overlap with US time zones
