Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with experience in designing and building scalable, cloud-native data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in big data technologies, distributed systems, and modern data architectures, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines and platforms.
Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing workflows.
Develop reusable components, frameworks, and data tools to improve engineering efficiency.
Ensure performance optimization, cost efficiency, and data quality across data workflows.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
Participate in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
Follow best practices for data security, governance, and compliance.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Proactive attitude with a strong desire to transform data into actionable insights.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in software and data engineering.
Strong foundation in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and data platforms.
Expertise in big data technologies such as Apache Spark and real-time streaming frameworks like Apache Kafka.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and SQL.
Advanced experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its data services.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of advanced data modeling techniques and modern data warehouses.
Experience in at least one of the following domains: SCM, Marketing, or Federated Data Models.
Ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant, and maintainable data systems.
