Data Engineer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms that support business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Python, cloud technologies, and modern data engineering practices. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, flat files, and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop automated data validation and monitoring processes.
  • Optimize database performance and query efficiency.
  • Support reporting, analytics, and machine learning initiatives by delivering trusted datasets.
  • Maintain technical documentation and data architecture diagrams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT development and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Hadoop, or Databricks.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
