Data Engineer (AWS / PostgreSQL / Airflow / Python)
Remote - Contract - W2 Position - 100 M Street SE, Suite 400, Washington DC 20003

Required:

• 2 years building ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
• 2 years using Apache Airflow for orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Docker.
• Familiarity with AWS services (RDS, S3, IAM).
• Must align with DC PCSB’s mission and values.

Preferred Skills

• 3–5 years total data-engineering experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL performance tuning on AWS RDS.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Quickbase or similar integration tools.
• Prior work in education data systems or public-sector analytics.
