Data Engineer or Systems Engineer

Responsibilities: come join our team and help support digital transformation. As a data or systems engineer, you will perform engineering analysis, planning, interface design, and provide engineering support for space programs. The ideal candidate is motivated and able to quickly learn and understand the unique challenges of the project and help formulate ideas and implement solutions to solve those challenges. You will also be experienced and comfortable working within digital engineering environments at multiple classification levels and with using digital engineering tools to help analyze space system performance and share the results with teammates and leadership.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or related field

· 5+ years of experience in data or systems engineering or related field

· Ability to work with a diverse military, civilians, and contractor team toward a common goal

· Ability to comprehend technical information quickly and translate it for comprehension at all experience and seniority levels

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of tools specifically MS Word and MS Powerpoint for executive level briefings and documents.

· Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for tracking progress in an agile environment

· Strong organization skills to support Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Working Group meetings.

· Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in engineering or computer science or related field

· Proficiency with GitLab and programming languages such as Python

· Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering processes and tools

· Experience with Air Force and/or Space Force acquisition process

· Experienced in implementing Agile Software Development methodologies

· Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

· Top Secret Clearance

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
