Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake, Azure & Power BI

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Azure Data Services, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will design and build scalable data pipelines, develop robust data models, and enable advanced analytics and reporting through high-quality, performance-optimized datasets.

This role requires hands-on experience in modern data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-native Azure data platforms.

Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & Pipeline Development

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and integration solutions
• Develop and manage enterprise data warehouse solutions using Snowflake
• Implement ETL/ELT workflows using SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Work with structured and semi-structured data sources (MongoDB preferred)
• Support real-time/streaming data integration using Kafka

Azure Cloud & Data Platform

Work extensively with Azure services including:

• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
• Azure SQL Database
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Develop and optimize data workflows within the Azure ecosystem
• Implement CI/CD for data pipelines using GitHub Actions

Data Modeling & Analytics Enablement

• Perform dimensional modelling and implement data warehousing best practices
• Design star/snowflake schemas and optimized data structures
• Build and maintain Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and data quality

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
• Strong expertise in:
• Snowflake
• SQL (Advanced level)
• Python / PySpark
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• ADLS
• Azure SQL
• Synapse
• Strong knowledge of:
• Dimensional modelling
• Data warehousing patterns
• Data quality and performance tuning
• Experience with Power BI for reporting and visualization
• CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions

Good to Have / Preferred

• Experience with Kafka for streaming pipelines
• Exposure to MongoDB
• Knowledge of PowerApps
• Experience building Azure Python Function Apps

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
