Data Entry (On-site) – NYS Education Department

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11217
Contract: ~1 year, possible extension/permanent
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM
Pay: $18–$20/hr

Role Overview

Provide administrative and data entry support to a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. Handle records, files, and routine office tasks in a busy environment.

Key Duties

• Enter data into computer programs
• Update daily/weekly spreadsheets
• File physical and electronic records
• Sort, locate, and return files
• Scan, email, fax, and copy documents
• Make follow-up phone calls
• Lift and organize file folders

Required Skills

• Experience with Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Forms
• Strong data entry and admin support background
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Comfortable with both physical and electronic records
